Ecosystem Investment Partners, the sponsor of the Calcasieu Wetland Mitigation Bank, is pleased to announce that it has received its first release of credits from the US Army Corps of Engineers. The Bank now has nearly 300 credits available in inventory to offset unavoidable impacts to wetlands in Calcasieu, Beauregard, Allen, and Jefferson Davis Parishes in the Lake Charles, Louisiana region.

The Bank’s credits provide permittees with compensatory mitigation under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, servicing the needs of residential, commercial, industrial, oil and gas, and public infrastructure projects.
