Located in Monroe County, Georgia within the Ocmulgee watershed (03070103), WHITE CREEK MITIGATION BANK focuses on restoring and protecting streams and surrounding buffer zones that had been impacted by an old dairy farm.

Restoration efforts included removing man-made ponds, rebuilding stream channels to follow their natural design, and planting native vegetation along the banks. These actions helped stabilize the area, improve water quality, and restore the natural ecosystem.

As a result, the project successfully restored White Creek and its riparian buffer, generating 92,148 stream credits. After the final credit release on August 10, 2012, and the sale of those credits, the project was officially completed, meeting its ecological restoration and preservation goals.
