BAYOU MARINGOUIN RAMAH TRACT MITIGATION BANK is a long and narrow site located outside the Atchafalaya levee system. In decades past, the tract was previously used as pasture for cattle production. In 2020, EIP’s partner, Delta Land Services, restored its original wetlands, providing ecological benefits to both the tract itself and the continuous forested system surrounding it. Named for the town in which it is located, Bayou Maringouin Ramah Tract is connected to Bayou Maringouin Mitigation Bank.
