MOSS LAKE MITIGATION BANK is located in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. This coastal prairie site has been managed through a series of large, prescribed burns and extensive planting of native seeds in 2015. Today, the former rice and cattle farm abounds with bottomland hardwoods, coastal prairie grass, and freshwater marsh that nurtures more than 100 species of plants. This project borders South Fork Mitigation Bank on the Western Calcasieu watershed.
