LIAM BROOKS is an Associate at EIP, where he assists with the firm’s asset and data management while evaluating potential investments and research strategies. Since joining the firm in 2019, Liam has particularly enjoyed developing new perspectives on the market fundamentals that underlie the firm’s strategy.
Liam has experience in environmental policy, commodity markets, data analysis, and research. Prior to EIP, Liam worked as a Research Associate at Karbone, where he evaluated regulatory policy and energy market data to inform investment decisions for a variety of stakeholders. Liam graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges with degrees in Economics and Environmental Studies.

What do you do at EIP?
I assess potential investment opportunities, assist with the management of our existing projects and funds, and coordinate research in new and existing markets.
What got you interested in this type of work?
My experiences farming and mountaineering fostered a curiosity about how we interact with the natural world. That interest has manifested in a desire to demonstrate the value of natural solutions to modern challenges.
What excites you about EIP’s impact in the world?
The alignment of economic, environmental, and social outcomes is the cornerstone of sustainability. I am excited to contribute to that progress on multiple scales with such an engaging and passionate team.
