GRAHAM CREEK MITIGATION BANK is a 471-acre site in east Texas that EIP acquired from Delta Land Services in July 2018. This converted cattle pasture includes 286 acres of wetland, 30,000 linear feet of stream, and is surrounded by thriving planted stands of cypress and river birch trees. Fire has been safely and successfully reintroduced to the site in its longleaf pine habitat. Graham Creek’s location in the Pineywoods region, surrounded by the Angelina National Forest and near the Sabine National Forest, means that restoration of this bank plays an important ecological role within the broader landscape.

EIP owns and sponsors the bank, and Delta continues to work with permittees and consultants to sell the credits. Mitigation credits from the Graham Creek Mitigation Bank meet the needs of diverse development projects in east Texas, from roads to oil and gas to industrial development.
